Kurt Roberts, Q’s Director of Technical Services, recently shared his expertise and opinions about SaaS apps (Software as a Service Applications) in an interview with DigitalMediaBuzz.com. The story by writer Lauren Fritsky - “Sending SaaS Apps into the Future” – looks at how SaaS apps will change in the coming years to better serve both businesses and users.
Roberts, who has led Q’s Technical staff for nearly two years, noted in the article that the key to developing user-centric SaaS apps is to identify “a very sharply defined task, and focus a lot on that one task. … That helps make it easier because you’re eliminating wrong choices. The interesting [apps] are going to be the ones that redesign real world tasks online.”

The raging all-night beach parties straight out of a beer commercial.
That torrid romance with the Labor Day expiration date.
Those long evenings and weekends cooped up in the office making a website.
Um, yeah. About that last part …

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Q-Industries, a digital marketing agency that develops online brands, websites and custom applications, is continuing its steady growth in 2009 – bringing on five new employees in response to a significant increase in customer demand.
In recent weeks, Q has added to its Client Services, Creative and Technical teams; Q is still seeking other experienced individuals interested in joining its group of smart, dedicated web professionals.
