Georgetown University

Q has a successful history working with several Georgetown University departments including its Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) and the Georgetown University Law Center.  When Georgetown University Law Center needed a web-based system to take its Write-On Competition online, it turned to agencyQ. Georgetown also engaged Q for a series of technology projects for GSAS, including redesigning two graduate school websites and building applications to help Georgetown manage student data and external grants.

Our Solution
  • Develop a custom web application to manage Georgetown University Law Center’s Write-On Competition, reducing staff time to administer the contest, reducing the probability for human error in the results and standardizing the process of placing students in legal journals
  • Redesign two graduate school websites driven by a CMS that retained the Georgetown brand while attracting the best and brightest individuals around the world to participate in their educational programs and research endeavors
  • Build custom web applications to help GSAS manage student data and external grants
  • Work closely with GSAS staff to reorganize its website, focusing on providing easy access to information on graduate studies and research for the university community and the general public  through elegant user interface design
  • Develop a new look and feel for GSAS’ online presence that would better communicate its role as a service organization
